Third Graders in two of our schools participated in a video conference as a pilot addition to the project. They heard from a rock expert at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh who explained in more detail about the types of rocks that are found in Pennsylvania. After her presentation, students asked questions. The experience was great and it was successful in our objective to extend students' learning about the natural resources that are part of Earth's materials. Link to Blair Mill VC Slideshow
